SOL SYN came together to publicly suggest forming a solidarity syndicate within which to apply for Arts Council England's Emergency Funding in 2020. Solidarity syndicates support each other to prosper, rather than competing against each other. Instructions on how to form a solidarity syndicate are available at makeitclear.eu/posts/sol-syn, and together with words on the cancellation of project grants pre- Covid, have been published in a limited edition free newspaper for Precarious Straits, available from the TOMA Project Space.
